Purchase: I bought these stirrups via the Dover Saddlery store for $85. I have naturally bad knees and a recent fall where I bent back my ankle has brought winces to my rides.
Likes: These stirrups are lifesavers! At first ride I was able to sink down my heels and wrap my leg around the barrel of the horse. It kept my whole body secure and I felt so much more comfortable. It took all the shock of jumping out of the equation and my horse's terribly bouncy trot was fun and energetic to ride.
Dislikes:
Quality: My only complaint might be the price, but they're certainly worth it over the $200 or even $20 pairs.
Summary: I can't believe I ever rode without these stirrups! I can't even fathom it. My heels and whole leg position has improved severely! What's not to like?
