Purchase: Bought at Dover for $95.
Likes: These half chaps are very light and soft. I was picking between these and tredstep and chose these because you don't even remember you have them on(like second skin). Make sure you get these very tight to start out with(like barely zippable). They soft leather stretches and molds to your leg. These look very attractive, spanish top, and very elegant. Grippy, but not too grippy, just perfect.
Dislikes: I would suggest to use these in moderation because they don't look like they would stand up to heavy use. I would say they are perfect if you ride in a weekly lesson or 2x a week. The zippers at the back were hard to get the hang of until you figure it out.
Quality: As good as a previous pair of Ariat's I had. But more delicate than other brands out there(Grand Prix for example).
Summary: I am not always a fan of Ariat, but these are a good buy and I would buy again if they are on sale.
