Purchase: I purchased the premia saddle at Horsemen's Outlet in Lebanon, NJ for around $985.
Likes: After trying different saddles throughout the area for a few hours, this one was a dream to sink into. If I did not know I was sitting in an english saddle, I would have never guessed. There were no intrusions into my leg, and the removable knee blocks make going from hunter classes to equitation classes a breeze. On top of the excellent comfort, the leather quality and color are truly intriguing - it's a wonder that it's only half the price of other, less accommodating saddles.
Dislikes: There's not a single thing that I don't like about it.
Quality: The premia is a well-constructed saddle, made of quality calfskin leather. Saddle seat is true to size and ultra comfortable. The tree of the saddle and the supports have a wonderful slope to them that makes my wide-backed horse very happy.
Summary: Sat in many saddles, including the premia's close competitor - the stubben roxanne. After sitting in the premia, there really wasn't any competition to begin with. Excellent saddle, amazing price, and wonderful quality leather. Perfect for those that appreciate quality - on a budget.
