Purchase: I bought these from a Cavalier dealer for around $80 for new jumping boots. Mine are a hazelnut color and match my other hazelnut accessories really well.
Likes: They were a great price. The leather is a little stiff but I haven't done mine any favors by oiling it or anything. The sheepskin is quite thick and nice. I really like that they have a really soft insert in the top of the back to flex with the horse's leg. I like the quality of protection it provides for my horse. The elastic is also nice and stiff so has a little bit of give but won't stretch out.
Dislikes: I dislike that the inserts are not removable.
Quality: I would like the leather to be a little nicer but I think its very adequate for the boots only being $80 and also for boots that are going to take a lot of impact.
Summary: I'd buy these as high quality schooling boots because the sheepskin gets dirty and dusty and I wouldn't go to a show with boots looking like that. Overall they provide good protection and are really nice looking.
