Purchase: I got a great deal on these boots and half chaps through the tack shop owned by one of the farms I teach for (I get an instructors discount). I paid $275 all together--quite a deal!!
I would have bought them even if I couldn't get the deal I did but I would have had to save to get them.
Likes: EVERYTHING. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I have been riding my whole life, gone through so many different paddock and tall boots and these, by far, are the most comfortable. The sole is flexible and sturdy, the leather is soft yet thick (keep in mind these are my everyday boots so they get A LOT of wear)and they fit under the half chaps beautifully. The half chaps are really really well made. The leather is soft, grippy and thick--I am not worried about them wearing out and I ride at least 4 horses a day. The look fantastic and they are comfortable to wear all day.
Dislikes: There isn't anything I don't like about these boots and half chaps. I plan to buy the tall boots too since I can get such a good deal through my tack shop. I imagine for most people the cost would be a deterrent when considering these models, but I must say, it will be money well spent.
Quality: The quality is fantastic. You could get custom for the price of these, but considering how well they are made and how *perfectly* they fit (like they were made for my leg) I wouldn't.
Summary: IF you can get a deal on these or afford them out right, they are a great choice.
