Purchase: I bought this saddle used from the Midwest Horse Fair. I only paid $750. A STEAL! I bought this saddle because I knew it was a steal and was secretly hoping it would fit my horse.
Likes: The saddle ended up being a bit to wide for my narrow thoroughbred mare...but my local county representative came out and restuffed the saddle. Fortunately for me, the saddle had not been restuffed during its life time so she was able to put about 3 pads worth of stuffing back in which made it fit my horse with the help of a mattes pad. The saddle is SO comfy. I was riding in a Pessoa which is also a great saddle, but this truly is a step up. I'm 5'7 and the saddle I bought has long flaps...which I had never had before. I didn't realize how awesome they are! There's finally something for my leg to grip to! All-in-all this is a fantastic saddle, fantastic quality and it's changeable due to horse weight gain, loss, muscle build, etc. If you can't spring for a new one like me, there are many used ones in beautiful condition for under 1500.
Dislikes: The saddle can mark up easily.
Quality: Great construction and amazing leather quality.
Summary: Ride in one and you will never go back!
