Purchase: We purchased these boots online - I think on eBay brand new for about $100. We had been suffering from cold feet in the winter months long enough, and had heard good things about these boots, so we decided to purchase them to use at the barn.
Likes: They keep your feet sooooooo warm it's unbelievable, and half of your leg too as they are tall boots. They aren't thick or heavy, which I like a lot. They have durable and waterproof rubber bottoms and suede tops with double-lock velcro at the tops and super treads on the soles. They can be ridden in, which is a big plus. They are fairly easy to clean- just hose off the bottoms and wipe off the suede with a damp towel. Steel toes are also in these boots, preventing damaged toes if your horse missteps onto your foot.
Dislikes: They arent quit tall enough to ride in - they fall just an inch short of my knee, but I am leggy so this may not be a fault of the boot. Other than that - I have NOTHING bad to say about these boots.
Quality: Thinsulate insulation on the insides. Super waterproof rubber soles and bottoms and suede tops with double velcro locks at the top so they stay secured and dont collapse. Durable treads on the soles for a non-slip grip on ice and snow. Super nice boots that keep your feet super warm!
Summary: Wonderful winter boots - will definatly keep for winters to come!
