Purchase: I bought this saddle new on ebay for 700.00. The package included a Cair girth, webbers, stirrups, gullet kit, and saddle cover.
Likes: This is one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever used. Albion's Original Comfort is also easy to ride in, but with the Wintec Pro's equisuede seat, I can ride in jeans (with no pant seam rubs and no sliding). It is easy to sit correctly in the Pro - no more fighting to achieve a proper position.
It is extremely easy to care for - no constant cleaning and conditioning. The billet straps on these new models are leather, however. This is an improvement in my opinion, because synthetic billets are more difficult to adjust and can tear at the holes unless a girth with roller buckles is used. I recommend the webbers, because they leave no uncomfortable bulk under your leg. Synthetic stirrup leathers aren't as supple as real leathers and can rub uncomfortably on your inside knee/thigh. The changeable gullet system means I can ride any size horse without purchasing another saddle (or borrowing someone else's saddle which doesn't fit me).
Dislikes: Changing the gullets requires a little bit of practice and some elbow grease, but it's still a whole lot better than purchasing multiple saddles!
Quality: It is well built and should last for years and years.
Summary: After spending the last 2 years saddle searching, and trying out County, Albion, Stubben, Crosby, Euroriding, and Collegiate saddles, I can honestly say this Wintec Pro is the best of the bunch.
