Purchase: I bought a barely used Walzer off ebay for $1200.
Likes: I absolutely love this saddle. My horse is a shark-finned, hard to fit TB with a big shoulders, a deep girth, and a slight scoop in his back. Combined with my 5'1" stature I literally went through dozens of saddles trying to find a good fit. The Walzer's medium tree with the banana panels and cutback head fit him like a custom made saddle. I love the big thigh blocks and the 16" flaps, and the stirrup bar placement puts my heels right under my hips. It is a secure, close contact ride.
Dislikes: Nothing! I absolutely adore this saddle!
Quality: The KNs are beautifully constructed with very nice leather. The leather does require quite a bit of oiling to soften up though. For the price, this is high quality.
Usefulness Rating: 2.3 out of 5.
