Purchase: I purchased these leathers new, in newmarket with half holes on eBay. I had just purchased a new saddle in a newmarket colour and was looking for some decent-quality low price leathers to use until I could purchase matching Stubben leathers. I believe we paid $60 for these leathers, which are originally $120.00.
Likes: They are nylon-reinforced, so they dont stretch out a whole lot and are very durable. The leather was the prefect colour and very soft and supple. They were easy to break in. The stainless steel hardware was nice too. They were decent priced too.
Dislikes: Where the stirrups have laid on the leathers, there are marks that wont smooth out and some of the colouring has rubbed off, but they are used every day so they get alot of wear and tear. The holes were really hard to get the buckle through at first- took alot of pushing to break through the nylon.
Quality: Decent quality for the price paid. Nice nylon reinforced, soft and supple leather.
Summary: OK leathers - will do fine until I need nicer leathers.
