Purchase: I managed to find a used 34" Prestige dressage girth at the Middleburg Tack Exchange for $40.00. I had just looked at the same exact girth the day before at Dover for a whopping $179.00
Likes: The leather is super soft (both the new ones I looked at in Dover as well as the used one I bought)and the stitching is very tight and small. The stitching was critical for me as my TB is very thin-skinned and really hates it when his hair gets pulled out by stitching. I also really like the billet keepers - just one on each side, which make it pleasing to the eye.
Dislikes: Nothing! It's a gorgeous girth. Though I didn't like the full price for it, so I was really lucky to have found a used one.
Quality: Prestige is a top brand, so everything on the girth is top notch quality. The leather is super soft, the stitching is really tight, and the hardware is very solid.
Summary: I love this girth, but part of it is because I only paid $40.00 for it. I don't think I would have paid $179.00 for it. At that price range, I would have coughed up an extra $40 and gotten the ReactionPanel Centrelastic Girth instead.
