Purchase: After I found out that Ariat changed the footbed in my beloved Cobalt Devon Pro Paddock boots, and that I didn't like the new footbeds, I decided I needed to save the life of what could potentially my very last pair of new Cobalt Devon Pros. I was looking for a muck boot that was comfortable, high quality, waterproof, and easy to put on. I bought these at Dover for $99.
Likes: I love the Ariat brand, so this was a natural choice for me. They are super comfortable, and I love the way they look - they are sleek and handsome work boots, but are very toughly made too. They are slip-ons, so no messing with laces, and you can rinse them off without worrying about any metal pieces (i.e., zippers) potentially rusting.
Dislikes: The sizing is off from other Ariat boots. I am a 6.5 in the Devon Pros, but for the Twin Gores I had to get a 5.5! So, a full size down for me. My feet were practically swimming in the 6.5s, and even the size 6 I thought I could kick them off if I tried.
Quality: They're Ariats - what more can you say? I have been buying Ariat boots since 1994 and they have time and again proven their durable, high quality designs.
Summary: I thought it would be tough adjusting to switching boots at the barn, since I usually do everything in my paddock boots, but these are so handsome and easy to put on, I love to wear them!
