Purchase: I purchased this saddle from Casa Dosa from Cleveland OK. I have gaited horses and was looking for a saddle that really fit. It was considered a used saddle. I paid around $1800.00 for it.
Likes: I like the saddle because it puts you in the correct position. Not a recliner seat. My horses gait (and move) better than in the flexible panel saddles that I was using. My husband only rides a couple times a year and really thinks the saddle is comfortable. He was not sore at all.
Dislikes: The seat is a 15 inch but feels like a 16. I don't feel that it fits all my horses. I was not given a trial time to ride in it. I would like to have time to make sure it will work with the horse and me. There was no way of making sure it fit my horses before I bought it. I don't like the center fire rigging that it has.
Quality: I feel the construction and quality of the saddle is good.
Summary: This is a great saddle if it fits the horse. There is no way of knowing it fits until after you have paid for it. If it does not work you are stuck with it.
