Purchase: Bought it as a used demo from County - it had a lot of custom features and was listed for $2700 and I negotiated down to $2500. Was well over $3500 as a 'new' saddle.
Likes: LOVE LOVE LOVE - cannot say enough good things. Fits my horse which is most important- who I have been looking for a saddle for over a year for. Tried so many different saddle brands that did not work including wintec, stubben, collegiate, bates etc. SUPER secure saddle - puts me in a great position and holds me there! LOVE the leather and the quality. A very nice saddle, well made.
Dislikes: Compared to my old saddle - there is a lot more leather between me and my horse and I find I have to cue a little more of lately. It's just different - its not bad its just something I have to get used to and adapt to. Its not like you have miles between you and your horse - my old saddle was just really old and there was a lot less saddle.
Quality: BEAUTIFUL work - very well made. Excellent quality leather, its still new so its still squeaky! Good billets - love the holes are slightly larger and square makes it easier to put on girth when your horse decides to bloat out a bit.
Summary: Excellent saddle for a great price. County was also a pleasure to deal with and bent over backwards to make sure both me and my horse were happy even though I bought a used saddle and not a brand new one!
