Purchase: I bought this pad for $161 and free shipping at Valley Vet. I needed a pad that would my dressage and jump saddles fit the changing back shape of my young OTTB.
Likes: I love that it has 4 shim, two sizes for front and two for the back, you can mix and match as you you need to. The sheepskin is lovely and soft and looks great. It gives the right about of lift at the withers without being bulky and has the added advantage of taking some of the bounce out because it's a thin line product.
Dislikes: It does take "some" of the bounce out, but not as much as the regular thin line pad which I also have and love. I wish Thin Line made a regular thin line pad, that was shim able- that seems a bit much though I guess. It's just that I LOVE the regular pad so much too!
Quality: The quality is great and it's great looking!
Summary: I love it. It gives protection and lift without being bulky and it looks GREAT!
