Purchase: I purchased the saddle through my very trusted fitting consultant, Stacie Somers of Trilogy Saddles.
I board my horse in northwestern NJ, part of Stacie's territory.
I chose the Talisman to replace my Albion K2 after some research, then trying a demo saddle which sealed the deal. I'm 5'7", train at Training/Prelim level and I just wasn't feeling the balance that I needed. I jump higher fences and with shorter stirrup length than I did 10 years ago when I bought the saddle. My legs were cramped.

Quality: The leather is sturdy but supple. I use only 100% Neatsfoot oil on it. The leather has grippiness, which I really appreciate when jumping without stirrups.
The saddle is so comfortable, I really enjoy riding w/o stirrups.
The saddle is wool-flocked, unlike many jumping saddles, so Stacie can adjust as necessary. Horses' backs change and it's critical to keep the saddle fitted properly.
Summary: I've been with Performance Saddlery for a long time, and stuck with them when they became Trilogy Saddles. They are devoted to quality. It shows in their service and their products.
