Model: Fly Spray (View all Fly Spray reviews)
Category: Fly Control
Purchase: Purchased a gallon of Bronco Fly repellant for about $20
Likes: I like that it was water-based, so that the dirt doesn't stick to my horses like it does when I use oil-based fly repellents. I have paint horses, so they can look dirty right away with oil-based fly repellent.
Dislikes: The flies aren't repelled for very long and the horses are still bothered by flies unless I have saturated them with the product.
Quality: Well constructed, but not effective enough.
Summary: This product might be good if I have just cleaned the horses and want to ride and keep the flies off temporarily, since it is water-based. I do get frustrated with oil-based products, since the dirt stick to my horses and makes them look dirty.
Usefulness Rating: 2 out of 5.
