Likes: Contrary to Keratex's hoof hardener, the gel is priced decently. One bottle will last me about 8 months but there are a few months where I only use it sparingly. Here in Arizona the transition between wet/dry season will cause hooves to crack, split, and become very dry. A daily application on a clean and DRY (very important) hoof will make mud cleanup easier and the hoof will stay conditioned for the weather changes.
Dislikes: If there is a drop or two of water on the hoof, the get won't bond with the hoof wall. It can be annoying during a really muddy season to get hooves clean and dry enough to apply the gel.
Quality: Good construction. It used to come in a large plastic bottle but now comes in an aluminum bottle. Aluminum bottle doesn't tip as easily.
Summary: Worth your money and works well.
