Purchase: I bought this saddle online from Holtz Saddle Co. for a little over $800 since they have a price match guarantee. I was looking for a quality saddle at a fair price. High Horse is made by Circle Y (known quality brand) and have heard High Horse is equal in quality.
Likes: I ordered it in the tobac color so I wasn't sure what it would look like since online the photo is of the natural color. The coloring if this saddle turned out beautifully. The roughout is lighter colored and looks really nice with the skirt being darker. The saddle is very comfortable. There is cushion in the seat and it is shaped well and I feel very secure in the saddle. My horse also likes this saddle. In the past she wouldn't stand still while having a western saddle put on her, but she stands still when I put this saddle on. I figure that is a good indication that she likes the saddle.
Dislikes: There is nothing not to like!
Quality: I've had the saddle only for a few months but I ride in it about 4 times a week. It still looks like new. Seems to be high quality. I can't find anything wrong with it.
Summary: Wonderful saddle. If you can't afford a higher priced saddle then this is definitely the saddle to buy. It may be High Horse, but it is made by Circle Y and the saddle even says "The Proven by Circle Y" on it. People assume the saddle is a pricey Circle Y saddle. But it!
