Purchase: I purchased this item for around $10.00 at Kentucky Horse Supply. I wanted a good linimint to use on my horse's sore spots and to use in a wash after hard work, such as conditioning and cross country jumping. I had previously tried Thermaflex, which worked okay but I couldnt mix it with water and have it still work - and you had to use gloves, or your hands would get annoyingly hot and cold all day long.
Likes: It does it's job well. My horse responds to it a lot better than Thermaflex. I like that it easily mixes with water for a linimint bath, or can be put on in the gel form and can even be used as a topical agent for small cuts and scrapes to aid in healing. I consider this my "all purpose" linimint for that reason. It comes in multiple sizes, and a liquid form too so you can get it however you want it.
Dislikes: Nothing, exept if you are using it as a wash and you don't dilute it enough, on a fair-skinned horse it can blister their skin if used too often.
Quality: In Liquid or a clear Gel form available from about a 30 ounce bottle to a gallon ((only liquid form available in gallon size)). White bottle with plain label with big red letters spelling BIGELOIL. Can be used with or without dilution of water for many different uses.
Summary: The best linimint I have found on the market. Will definatly keep using instead of Thermaflex or Absorbine.
