Purchase: I got this girth through my local tack store for my boyfriend's horse, since I was riding her for the summer and he didn't ride English. I paid about $25 for it, thinking that I'd just get cheap 50'' girth for her, as I didn't have anything that size.
Likes: It's definitely better than I thought it would be. Stitching is even and strong, the buckles and elastic are heavy-duty, and the fleece-type material that backs the girth looks nice. And the horses are very comfortable with it.
Dislikes: Elastic is very strong, so I got the 50'' and can barely get it on, and should have gotten the 52''. I expected more stretch, but instead got better quality.
Quality: Even stitching, nothing crooked or hanging or unraveling. Materials all seem able to handle extended use and wear.
Summary: I liked the 50'' so much that I went to three different online stores before I found a 46'' for my pony, but I wanted one that badly!
