Purchase: I bought this saddle used off of a well known website after the model was recommended to me by another well known website saddle fitter. I could not afford a new one so this saddle was a fabulous deal at almost half the price for a new one.
For being used, it hardly looked it.
Likes: The buffalo leather soft, grippy and of high quality.
The movable/removable thigh blocks are great for customizing the fit. Other brand thigh blocks work on this saddle too. (Wintec, Duett)
This could be your dream saddle.
Dislikes: Sadly, it did not fit either me or my horse.
I need a much different type of seat due to my pelvic floor. And, my extremely hard to fit horse let me know right away it was wrong for him too.
My horse is an extra wide stock horse type Appaloosa. The curve of his spine, his huge shoulders and short ribcage is a problem with saddles meant for warmbloods.
Quality: Absolutely beautiful saddle!!! Extremely well made. The stitching is perfection.
can not fault this saddle for quality.
Summary: I was so hoping this would be the saddle that worked. Back to the drawing board.
This saddle will soon be listed on a major saddlery website. 17.5" seat, XW tree.
