Purchase: I purchased this item from my local tack shop for around $12 a bottle. I had heard that it was the best fly spray you could use, and flies are HORRBLE where I keep my horse because our farm is right next to the Ohio River.
Likes: It works, unlike many other fly sprays and insecticides that I have tried. It actually kills flies on the spot - they drop dead within seconds of coming in contact with the spray. They spray is exceptionally cheap, cheaper than Tri-Tech 14 or other sprays that don't work. The strong citronella acts to repel all kinds of bugs - not just flies.
Dislikes: The very slight greasy residue it leaves on their coats. It is supposed to contain coat conditioners, and it does, but I dont like the greasy feel. I have also tried to aerosal can insecticide - it doesnt leave quite the grease on their coats, so that could be an alternative.
Quality: A bright yellow 32 oz. bottle with black sprayer and logo. All writing in black. Also available in an aerosal Insecticide form and in Gallon sized.
Summary: It may leave a slight residue, but it makes my horses more comfortable - definatly the best you can buy!
