Purchase: Trialed only- asking $1,100 but had water stains on the seat. Looking or secure jumping/trail saddle.
Likes: The quality was excellent, soft leather, tight stitching. The front/rear blocks were nicely placed. Put my leg in a good position for 2-point. Fit the horse very well, soft flocking.
Dislikes: The seat! Was in agony by the way it was shaped or something- not sure why it was such an awful ride (even when posting). Despite the seat padding it was like posting on concrete. The saddle went back after a 5 minute ride.
Quality: The construction and quality was excellent- what you would expect from Albion.
Summary: I own an Albion SLK dressage saddle which I have been very happy with. Perhaps it was because this was the "K2" line which is the economy line- but honestly the seat was unbearable. Some may like it and worth a try if you aren't picky or sensitive. Surprised as I thought I'd have a sure hit with the jumping line. Rate it a 2 due to high quality-othewise would be 0.
