Purchase: This is saddle number 2, my first Sycamore Creek Saddles was for my mare, fit her perfect but not my gelding, so had him fitted and ordered another SVC001-D. I paid $530.
Likes: I love this saddle great fit,on my gelding, and love the stirrups as they are already turned. The top grain leather through out the saddle, love the memory foam, all you need under it is just a thin saddle blanket. Also now you have the choice of leather latigos,( a little extra $ for the leather) or nylon, I got leather and the leather is soft and supple and strong, really nice edges on them. Breast collar is also excellent as is the croup.
Dislikes: I can't find anything wrong with this saddle.
Quality: This saddle is so very well made, the saddle maker should be very proud of his saddles, where do you get such a good saddle that comes with the breast collar and croup, and cinch.
Summary: Well anyone who gets a saddle from Sycamore Creek, is going to get what they want and much more. Tony is great to talk to about ordering and what he can do for you to make sure you get the fit you want for your horse and you.
