Purchase: I purchased this saddle from Adams Horse and Tack about 3 years ago, I paid about $600 for it.
Likes: This saddle still looks like new, and the gullet is very easy to change. I have and do use it on a TB, a QH, and a S/H. Everything from jumping, trails, gymkhana and eventing...this saddle just keeps up to everything I can use it for. I ride about 5 days a week. I like it in the rain, it doesn't slip, and I can hose it off to clean it. The horses have a nice fluid movement with it on, it doesn't pinch,or leave even a sweat mark anywhere so the fit is great.
Dislikes: I have had a gullet bend when using it for barrel racing. I would like the saddle to be a little more forward cut and the billets to be a touch longer.But for the price, it's amazing.
Quality: The quality of the fabric is amazing, it still looks new, no fading, just a little shinier on the flaps. The stitching is just starting to wear on the lower flaps, which can be easily fixed. All of the hardware still looks new. The billets are starting to oblong. But it has been used hard.
Summary: My horses and I love this saddle. I have already bought another Wintec A/P with Cair. And I plan to buy another close contact with Cair, when this one "dies". The price and quality are unsurpassed by any other. User friendly and they look as good as any.
