Purchase: I purchased a Riders Choice barrel saddle new on ebay a few months ago (16", royal blue seat).
Likes: I use it for both barrels and trail ridding on a quarter horse and it is very comfortable for both me and the horse. The only suggestion is get a back cinch because the way it is designed the back comes up to far off the horses back when running.
Dislikes: I asked them to customize the stirrup length since I am short. They were very accommodating and only charged $35 for customizing.
Quality: I was pleased when I saw the quality of leather when the saddle arrived and felt it was a good value.
Summary: I do not think you will be disappointed. The manager is also very accommodating, helpful and replies promptly to email.
