Purchase: I bought these half chaps at a local tack shop because I was growing out of my old swede ones and they were not all that expensive compared to other brands. I figured Kerrits had a good name and they were pretty nice looking.
Likes: I liked how grippy these chaps were and how easy they were to put on, where other half chaps have difficult buttons to snap.
Dislikes: I didn't like how squeaky they were when I first started riding in them. I also ride about twice a week and my stirrup leathers started to rub holes in them after about a year of use, which resulted in large blisters on both of my lower legs.
Quality: The quality is not bad for someone who just rides occasionally.
Summary: I would not recommend these half chaps to someone who is a vigorous rider looking for durability. I wouldn't by these again.
