Likes: This is the most comfortable saddle my horse and I have ever experienced. After having had bad experience in saddle fittings of well known makes, we found the arabian saddle company elipse saddle. It is very well made, extremely comfy for me and my horse. The seat and gullet is wide, the points are swept back and don't interfere with shoulders, great for my andalucian cross standardbred, the panels are flat and soft. I bought the buffalo leather and wow it looks amazing. The seat is not too deep but is still very secure. Hope to do long hacks in it but the other styles look great as well, my horse is very short coupled. I have the wide size and it is 9 half inches between the ds and the panel length is 19 inch that helps anyone in deciding the size.
Dislikes: Absolutely nothing, but wouldn't say it had a narrow waist. Lovely lovely saddle,
I just wish that the saddles were more readily available from stock. Understand though that they are an expensive item to keep in every size and width.
Quality: The construction is second to none and the quality first class
Summary: I feel these saddles would suit horses with big moving shoulders and short coupled horses as well as normal length horses.
