Purchase: I was looking for a saddle to fit my baroque Friesian gelding. I also had a special need in that I had to have an adjustable stirrup bar. George Gullickson had been coming to the barn a few times a year and I finally broke down and bought his Elite with the French leather.
Likes: This saddle is really exquisite. The French leather is just outstanding! I love the fact that it really helps with position and the leather is super grippy! The exposed knee role is really helpful when riding a big mover. The twist is narrow which is great for women. I think this is a saddle for lifetime! The adjustable stirrup bar is great if you have a longer thigh and need to move the stirrups back or vice-versa.
Dislikes: Nothing! The quality is just superb.
They are quite pricey.
Quality: Top quality.
Summary: I adore this saddle and would spend the money all over again. I had gone through 4 saddles in 6 months and finally I found the perfect saddle for both me And my horse.
