Purchase: My trainer was giving away all of her school horse tack because she no longer needed it. I had been riding in an ancient Albion, which was not balanced at all (it tipped me forward) and just didn't work for me. I did not have to pay anything for the saddle, although I think this model used to retail for around $1200, maybe a little more. Ovation now sells them for around 1500.
Likes: The saddle is perfectly balanced. The knee rolls are a nice size; enough the keep your position but they don't restrict and aren't obnoxiously big. The leather seems like good quality, but I can't really tell with mine because it's really old and wasn't taken care of (despite this, everything is in workable and safe condition).
Dislikes: The leather on the seat of mine is cracked, but it does not at all affect the ride in the saddle and is just because it wasn't taken care of. Also, the flocking on the panels is a little hard, but I'm not surprised because of the saddle's age.
Quality: Overall, a great saddle. If balance and quality is important to you, then this is a great saddle, especially for the price. However, they are now made by Ovation and I'm not sure if they are the same.
Summary: If you want a balanced and comfortable dressage saddle, this is for you, especially if you don't want to pay too much. When in good condition, they are attractive enough for the show ring as well.
