Purchase: This saddle was found on the Internet and was purchase directly from the company. It cost $1600.00 new.
Likes: Nothing.
Dislikes: Upon opening the box a horrible smell arose from the leather. It smelled like urine or something like it. I don't know what they used to tan this leather but it smelled awful.
Don't be fooled that these saddle can be "adjusted to fit your horse." If you have a rounder, stock type of horse it WON'T FIT! The front of these saddles is made for narrow Australian body type horses not the type of stock horse we have in the states.
Customer service was the worst, emails and phone calls didn't get returned mostly.
If you have to return this saddle beware, this company is run out of a private residence and your UPS charges will be sky high because of that.
This company automatically puts a more expensive stirrup on this saddle and fights you if you ask for a more basic type. The girth is the same thing. It seems like I was nickled and dimed to death on these upgrades.
When saddle arrived seat size was WAY TOO LARGE and when I asked about this I was told that was the seat size I needed. I slopped around in the seat and could never get any balance.
Quality: Fair workmanship only. Very little fleece on the underside of the saddle. The tree sat directly on the horse with little to no cushioning.
Summary: Horrible experience all the way around. Saddle was expensive and did not fit me or my horse. Oh yeah, there is a return policy but they'll fight you on it every step of the way.
Spend your saddle money on a credible company that will treat you right. This one is NOT it. The customer is the loser with these people, always.
