Purchase: Both my daughter and I have been using Lidlocker Helmets for years. Prices paid range between $33 - $50 depending on where purchased.
Likes: The helmets are fantastic! Because of the locking system the helmet is very easy to put on and fit. Before putting it on, you pull the two straps loose, put the helmet on, fasten the chin strap, and then pull the two straps. Zip! It pulls snug and comfy!!! Contrary to a previous review, the helmets DO have padding and, in fact, come with extra padding that you place in different spots where ever you want to create a customized fitting.
Dislikes: I really don't have anything about the helmet I don't like. If pressed for something, then I would say that I would prefer that the brow of the helmet should fasten with something more firmly than the velco. After a few years of use, this has a tendency to start working loose. Nothing that a tube of super glue can't fix!!
Quality: The helmet is vented with large airways and really helps cool the head down. For winter time, covers can be put on to help keep the heat in. The removeable brow band allows you the choice of having it on or not.
Summary: It's a fantastic helmet! I highly recommend them to everyone!
