Manufacturer: Classic Saddlery
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: Local person, paid 1,000
Likes: Love the buffalo leather option, glad the person before me got it since I am an eventer I have to ride in the rain quite a bit. This saddle stays grippy even in a downfall of rain, but you can still move when you need to. Extra deep seat with supportive block to "help" and not force your position.
Dislikes: My saddle fitter gave up trying to get this to fit my notoriously hard to fit horse. I ended up buying a used Prestige and even it is slightly off. These are difficult to change once the tree/wool has been changed once so be warned.
Quality: Very nice, well built, hard wearing (Buffalo, don't know about regular leather) leather still looks and smells new. Stitching is still tight after 5 years.
Summary: Very nice saddles, especially for the price. If you loved the old Rembrandts you will love Classic's saddles. Just be sure to ask if the saddle has been fitted before.
Usefulness Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
