Purchase: This fly spray is available at numerous locations in Central Florida, but by far the best deal is Horstmeyer's in Sanford, Fl. It will run you about $15.00 for a quart and $50.00 for a gallon.
Likes: This is one of the best fly sprays I have ever used. You see it working right away after application. It is an "all-natural" herbal product that has a great smell. It doesn't irritate the skin and I even use it to put a polish on my horses coat as it has some vitamin e.
Dislikes: Of course, like all fly sprays, you must reapply the product during sweaty workouts. It can be hard to find and some tack stores jack up the price (I've seen it as expensive as $24.00 a quart).
Quality: It's definitely a quality product and rivals some of the bigger manufacturer's products. The sprayer itself is very good plastic and can be re-used over and over again without deterioration.
Summary: I will buy Toad Mist as long as I can find it in the store AND the quality is maintained AND it is appropriately priced. It's made by a small, local company and I'd rather contribute my business to their enterprise than some of these multimillion dollar companies.
