Likes: The pad fit well, appears to be well constructed with reinforcing material at saddle pressure points and billet contact areas. I've used the pad for dozens of rides and it shows no sign of wear. My cleaning procedure involves removing the foam cushions and soaking both the pad and cushions in a large bucket of cold water. In hot weather, this is done every 3-5 rides to remove dirt and odor. Most important, my horse seems to love this pad. I have a very sensitive thoroughbred mare. Her comfort level is evident in her demeanor and performance. Since using this pad, the quality of our rides has improved noticeably.
Dislikes: The pad and foam cushions take longer to dry that I had expected. The remedy here (for me) is to purchase two pads so that you always have a clean dry pad available.
Quality: Well constructed, reinforced where needed and seems to be holding up well after dozens of long trail rides with no signs of wear.
Summary: If your horse's comfort and quality of life are important to you, consider this pad.
