Purchase: I purchased this saddle 2 years ago after being impressed by the portfolio of riders that had chosen this brand of saddle. I needed a new saddle as my horse would not stand to be tacked up and mounted and I wanted to rule out any saddle fit problems.
Likes: Everything! This saddle has completely transformed my horse, she now stands perfectly to tack up and mount and she moves like never before.
My riding has improved no end as the saddle puts me in a much better position which gives me more confidence.
I love the buffalo hide seat which is something i have never had before in my other saddles.
I have allowed my friend to ride in my Stackhouse saddle and even though she has completely the wrong body shape for my saddle (as i am very short and she is very tall) she already prefers it to her saddle and is saving up to have a saddle made for her.
Dislikes: Nothing so far, I love it now as much as the day I got it, probably more!
Quality: Completely made to measure for both me and my horse. Fantastic quality leather that looks as good now as when it was new, I was able to choose from options for colour, padding and style etc to get exactly what i wanted.
Summary: I would highly recommend a Stackhouse Saddle for anyone who appreciates quality and cares about the comfort of their horse, I would never have believed a saddle could effect my horse this way and would suggest anyone with a difficult horse should at the very least have a chat with Stackhouse as they gave me one to one professional advice in person about my horses problems when i had my saddle fitting.
