Purchase: After checking reviews from horsetackreview.com I decided to contact Holly at Mountain Horse Saddle. I had a tree sent to me to place on my Perch/QTR cross for fit purposes. She determined the correct size and informed the build time was 2-3 weeks. Two weeks later my saddle arrived. The saddle fit my hard to fit horse perfectly. All my saddle slipping problems are gone. Price Paid $950.00 with the additional upgrades.
Likes: The saddles overall appearance is nice. It is very comfortable for both me and my horse. There are just the right amount of D rings and ties to be a good functioning trail saddle.
Dislikes: None at this time.
Quality: I chose the upgraded leather and was very happy I did. There was pretty much zero break in time for the saddle.Even the off billet and cinch strap leather were soft and easy on the first cinching of the saddle. The stitching and tooling were all of high quality.
Summary: The whole process of sending me a tree for fitting the saddle and the final ordering was top notch. Any questions I had were answered in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I will do more business with Mountain Horse Saddles in the future.
