Purchase: Purchased in great used condition from a friend for $230 because I needed a quick cheap saddle for my new horse. Dover sells it for about $300.
Likes: Comfy to ride in. Good first saddle to school in.
Dislikes: The tree is fiber glass, which is not the most comfy for the horse. The leather is cheaply made and cracks easily. The billets are extremely short and I had to purchase a new girth. The saddle pinched my horse on the shoulder. I was not pleased with it and re-sold it to a beginner rider at my barn after riding in it for about 2 months.
Quality: Not a quality saddle. Good first saddle, however it was bad on my horse's back and I had to purchase a special gel pad. The ONLY thing I liked was the comfortable seat.
Summary: I would not recommend. If you are serious at all about riding and the way your saddle fits your horse, you should consider spending a bit more to get a nice saddle.
