Purchase: I bought this saddle during a sale from the Smith Brothers catalog. I paid $899 plus $99 shipping.
Likes: It had a stand-out rawhide trim that seemed unique.
Dislikes: The seat was a small 14.5 inch. Leather was cheap- stirrup leathers had a "tattered" texture. Blevins holes did not match up. Picture in catalog was MUCH better than actual saddle!!
Quality: Saddle was of lower mid-grade quality. Seemed mass-produced with no attention to detail.
Summary: I tried this saddle on my horse the day it arrived from Smith Brothers. I was not happy with it's form or function so took it down to my local tack shop and used it as a trade-in. I lost several hundred dollars!!
