Purchase: Two people in my barn have and love this pad. I borrowed it for a few rides. I have not purchased this pad.
Likes: The two girls that have it love it. I've watched them after long rides take off the saddle and pad and there is a nice even sweat under the saddle. Looks beautiful and perfect.
Dislikes: I have a halter & WP bred mare that I am having a hard time fitting. She is mutton withered and nicely muscled. I've got the best saddle so far and decided to borrow the SMX to see if it would help. After a good ride I took the saddle off to find that she still had dry spots and it was no better than any other pad I've tried.
Quality: Construction and quality seem to be great. The girls have had theirs for a while now and they are holding up perfectly.
Summary: Like everything, this pad works well for some and not for others. I guess I just need to keep searching...
