Purchase: We purchased our saddle from Wolf Bros. Western Store in Omaha, Nebr. a store well known for carrying quality product's and offering excellent customer service. The saddle cost approx. $1200.00.
Likes: Everything ! Comfort, fit, quality materials, beautiful workmanship, color, lightweight saddle, lots of rings for attachments and trail gear, fits both horses perfectly.
Dislikes:
Quality: I love the padded seat on those long trail rides and high cantle on hills and ravines.
Even though the Chisholm is lightweight (28lbs) is it a substantial saddle.
The leather is rich with detail, good quality and I love the deep, walnut color.
Summary: Due to an injury I was looking for a lightweight saddle replacement. I was thrilled to find such a quality, well made, beautiful comfortable saddle that also was easy to lift on my horse. I have received many compliments and my horses are never sore after hours of riding.
