Purchase: I bought this girth at the Greenhawk on the Avenue mobile unit at Palgrave, because my old girth of a different brand needed replacing.
Likes: I think the quality of the leather isn't bad for the money. I like that it has D rings on the sides of the girth and the middle for training attachments, and the colour of the elastic mimics Antares. The buckles slide easily along the billets, which makes mounted adjusting easy.
Dislikes: The double layer of leather in the middle is designed with sharp edges, and gave my stallion horrible girth rubs with one use. I don't have the receipt or the tag to return it, otherwise I would. The contour design does not allow for a girth cover.
Quality: The contour design isn't bad, and the buckles role easily. The leather quality isn't bad, but will need a lot of oiling before it's supple. The underside colouring rubs off within the first use to a white colour. At first I thought it was poultice from my clothing, but I have come to discover it's not. Fits kind of on the small side
Summary: Bottom line, I don't think I would purchase this girth again between the girth rubs and the colouring rubbing off.
