Purchase: I purchased from Schneider's catalog, after already owning other Schneider's quality blankets. I bought this item because, my 16.2h 1350lb Quarter Horse never would grow a winter coat,from birth to his untimely death of 16, from Vermont to his long life here in Fla. I paid 200.00 for the blanket, later bought the neck cover and breakaway halter. Never had I been so impressed. This equipment fit him as though it was hand tailored, he wore an 84, not one rub mark or loss of shoulder hair. I would love to be able to sell this, and have someone enjoy what my horse and I got from this blanket!!!
Likes: I like the fact that this blanket is useful, from, -0 to + 80. Durability is unwavering, no rubbing on high whithers is AAA+++. True to size fit was a bonus(no return Yea).
Dislikes: Could be a tad bit lighter. When you put this blanket on a 16.2 horse and your only 5ft3in., it's a little cumbersome.(But worth it.) Also, it's had to find a place to launder this item. Still AAA+ in my book!
Quality: The construction of the blanket is as rugged as can be. My horse wore this for 6yrs., and it looks as good as day2. The quality can't be beat for the money, I've been so disappointed in the past. Other companies will try and lure you in to false security with a cheaper blanket, but be the smart fish in the lake, ask. Ask the company, ask for references. Schneiders V-Tek Storm is "TOP BLANKET"
Summary: When I receive Schneider's magazine I will be ordering 3 new blankets. I enjoy the on phone coupons and the friendly, knowledgeable sales staff, these people act as though they know my horses and my needs Thank you to the whole Schneiders Team for making me a very happy customer.
