Purchase: I Bought these half chaps at the Royal from the Pleasent Ridge both last year because my old Ariats chaps were ripping. I bought them on sale for $40.00 (reg. $60.00)
Likes: I LOVE how much of a grip you get on your horse when you wear these! I have had them for about a year now of riding and wearing them all day for 4-5 times a week and they still are nice and snug. They also wrinkle VERY nicely and drop down behind the knee wonderfully during the ride. And of course, the price is great too!
Dislikes: There is nothing i don't like about these chaps
Quality: The chaps are 3/4 leather and 1/4 of another material (not quite sure what it is, but i like it!) and they have nice big, sturdy zippers. When i first put these chaps on, i thought the leather was too thin and flimsy, but after my first ride, i never thought that again! The leather wrinkles and shapes to your leg nicely.
Summary: I love these 1/2 chaps!! They are inexpensive, durable (even through all my abuse to them) and a dream to ride in. After these die, i will purchase them again or other Horse Tech chaps :)
