Purchase: I purchased the set of boots from Victory Canter for $21.95. I bought them because my horse has had splint/suspensory issues and I was looking for an open front boot that was less expensive than the Eskadrons.
Likes: Color was nice.
Dislikes: The boots were WAY too tall--a good 1/2 inch taller or more than the Eskadron open fronts. I have a 16.3 TB, and if they were too big on him, I can't imagine what they would be like on a smaller horse. Back of the boot came up just under the knee and would have been uncomfortable for the horse while jumping.
Quality: Quality and construction were average. There seemed to be an excess of the neoprene lining around the edges of the boot.
Summary: I bought these boots because several reviews here and on other sites stated they were a good alternative to the very pricey Eskadron boots. After seeing them myself, I would not recommend them to anyone. The boots are too large/tall and would certainly interfere with the horse's movement and comfort.
