Purchase: I acquired this particular cinch at my local take store for $69.95 plus tax.
I needed a second cinch for my horse.
Likes: The Alpaca fiber is extremely soft and comfortable for the horse. The cinch also has a lot of "natural" give, while being very strong at the same time. The stainless steel hardware with dual roller buckles makes for easy cinching and greater durability. Also, the roper style distributes pressure over a wider area, and does offer a little more support then the straight style model.
Dislikes: There really isn't anything that I don't like about the cinch.
Quality: The construction and over all quality of the cinch are very good.
Summary: If your looking for a Mohair alternative then you should definitely give the Alpaca Roper Cinch from Classic Equine a try.
