Purchase: Purchased on line for @ $1400.
Likes: Comfortable for me. I like the sheepskin.
Dislikes: Quality is not so good and they don't stand behind their product. After a year, the piping around the cantle came loose (leather disintegrated). I wrote asking for a warranty repair and here is their reply:
"It is highly unlikely that the piping on the back of the saddle "fell apart". More likely is that it got caught on something. This happens frequently when people are loading them into saddle racks on trailers, or barns. Metal on the hanging mechanism often gets caught on the back of the saddle if the saddle is not exerted in correctly, or removed exactly correctly. Those racks cause great havoc on saddles. I have see this MANY times before, on all kind of saddles. Or maybe it got caught somewhere else -- but it did get caught, somewhere, somehow, by somebody. It is impossible for the piping to come apart for any other reason than trauma.
That said, we can fix the saddle for you.The cost would be $150. You pay shipping."
So much for standing by your product.
Quality: Leather is okay. The brass fittings are nice.
Summary: Had they offered to fix my problem under warranty,I'd recommend the saddle. But they didn't. I once had a cosmetic issue with a 2 year old Tucker and they fixed it without question at their cost.
Buy American made products.
