Purchase: I bought this saddle through Kiah Equine in Australia - the Aussie distributors for the WOW saddle.
It cost $4500 and took 8 weeks to get to me.
The West Australian rep measured my horse and ordered the saddle for me.
Likes: Not much - Nice quality leather - although too soft and marks easy. Very nicely made. More than likely a good "concept" but that is about it.
Dislikes: This saddle was custom made and designed for my rather difficult to fit horse. Trouble is, it never fit. To the point of inflicting serious pain on my horse. Including a pinched nerve in her shoulder causing fluid lumps over her spine.
According to Australian Consumer Law I was entitled to a refund or replacement. Kiah Equine refused to participate, and the customer service I received was positively appalling.
I ended up accepting their offer of $3600 just to get the matter over and done with.
I would and could never recommend anyone in Australia buy a WOW saddle.
Customer service etc is fine IF you don't complain or have a problem.
The Aus reps are inflexible and do not seem to have the required knowledge and skills to adequately fit, measure and order saddles.
Quality: Quality is good, I'm sure the construction is good. Saddle is only as good as the fitter.
Summary: An extremely expensive mistake.
TERRIBLE customer service and sheer ignorance and arrogance.
Aus reps are unable to properly fit saddles - they are not accredited saddle fitters.
If I could give it a 0 I would.
