Purchase: I purchased the Muster Master on line for around $1400 a year ago. I got the no horn model with a monkey grip. I provided wither tracings to ensure a good fit.
Likes: The tree is adjustable and light. The whole saddle with fenders weighs only about 26 lbs.
The tackle berry girth is easy to use. My horse is a bit 'cinchy' and he seems to not mind it as much as a traditional girth.
The saddle is comfortable. I have ridden for hours in it.
There is plenty of room to rig up trail gear.
Dislikes: I don't like the exposed metal for the flexible tree.
Quality: The Australian leather is good quality and there is real fleece. The brass fittings are a nice touch.
After a year of using it almost everyday, the piping along the back of the cantle came loose. I was quite upset about it when they said that only would have happened if I had banged it on something- which I don't ever recall doing.
Having said that, they are repairing it at no cost. I plan to continue to use the saddle.
Summary: I really like the saddle. I was a bit disappointed when the piping let go, but they are making it right.
I feel like they stood by their product and would purchase again.
